If you have cancer or you are supporting someone who has a cancer diagnosis, this session helps alleviate the stress and fear that you may be experiencing. Tools and techniques will be provided to reduce anxiety and be at peace, even in the unknown. I personally understand this challenging experience as a caretaker for my mother. I learned a lot in the process and I’m dedicated to helping others. We can stay present and focus on living vs worrying. I facilitate the processing of intense emotions that may come up and assist in reframing the mind so that we can make the most of our given moments. We can live life fully, regardless of these circumstances. That is my commitment to you as you go through this journey.
This is my beautiful mother, Maria who was diagnosed with Stage 3 ovarian cancer in 2016. That was the day that changed our lives forever. I was perplexed at how this could have even happened and to her. My mom was young (54) at the time. She was healthy and active and a woman of deep faith. She grew up with a tight knit family and had love around her. She didn’t take life so seriously. How could this be happening and why her? I wanted to control it all so she could beat it and stay alive. She transcended in 2020. That too, rocked mine and my sister’s world. We watched mom face this head on. Not a single complaint or negative response. Sure, there were rare moments where I watched her cry and get angry at times, but we need that in order to usher us into peace and surrender, which she became the epitome of. Her joy and positive light seared right through wherever she went and with those around her. It was a journey that taught me the most precious lessons and gifts about life and what it means to truly live. How do you cherish the journey, and with whatever you are handed with in this journey? How does one stay present to love and life and not fear or worry? How do you remain fully connected to your loved ones in the here and now? How do you make the 100% chance of living amazing, along with the 2 percent chances of living amazing? Mom, you did just that and in every stage and every second. And now I am committed to sharing it with all of YOU. Thank you, mom. I miss you and I love you.
